Alumnae Experience

Alumnae Experience

The fun doesn’t just end once you graduate, there are countless opportunities to stay involved as an alumna.

You can join your local alumnae chapter. With La Verne being in the heart of Southern California, we have several alumnae chapters close by.  Pasadena Area, Los Angeles, and Pomona Valley are just a few of the alumnae chapters surrounding the University.  Joining an alumnae chapter allows you to stay connected to other sisters and attend fun events.

Volunteering as an alumna is another great option. This allows you to continually support Sigma Kappa either by becoming an advisor for your local collegiate chapter or becoming a national volunteer.

One way to also join the sisterhood is to become an alumnae initiate! This year we had the pleasure of welcoming in two mothers of our sisters into our chapter! Gina Hogan and Nicole Mueller had seen the support, personal growth and love that their daughters have experienced from being a part of Sigma Kappa, and wanted to be a part of it themselves. They felt immediately welcomed over the years which led them to become an official member. Both Gina and Nicole have personal family connections to Alzheimer's Disease which made joining the Mystic Bond even more special. They love our values of personal growth, loyalty, friendship, and service as their own and now have to chance to share every part with their daughters Remy Hogan and Brooke Mueller, along with the rest of our sisters of the Theta Beta Chapter.
